2024 Summer CanSkate

July 8-11 & July 15-18, 2024 (8 sessions)

 

This is Skate Canada's flagship learn to skate program.  It is geared towards people ages 4-17 years old.

 

Location: Access Event Centre in Morden

 

Dates/Times: Monday-Thursday, July 8th-18th; 11:30am-12:15pm (Total 8 sessions)

 

Age and Skating requirements:

• Skater is at least 5 years old (by July 18, 2024) AND can skate forward and is able to get up unassisted OR

• Skater is at least 4 years old and participated in our CanSkate program last winter (2023-24 season)

Skaters must provide their own skates and CSA approved skating helmets (no bike or ski helmets allowed).

 

Cost:

$ 130+ $58.70 Skate Canada membership fee 

*Note: Skate Canada fee only applies to those who did not skate in the CanSkate program this winter.  Skate Canada membership is good from September 2023-August 2024.

 

Registration opens June 14 at 7am

Registration and payment deadline: July 1, 2024

Please note that if minimum number of skaters is not achieved, the program will not be offered.  If program becomes full a waitlist will come into effect.

Please note that to once you have added an item to your cart, your space has been reserved and you have 30 minutes to complete checkout.  Please take the time to read over all policies carefully.  Once you have completed registration, you will receive an invoice.  If you do not receive an invoice, you have not registered, so please make sure to complete all the registration steps.

 

Payment is by e-transfer (mordenfigureskating@gmail.com).  Put skater's full name in the message.  Some families may also qualify for funding assistance based on their income.  Please click on the "Funding Assistance" tab for more details.
