StarSkate Questions

Can we skip CanSkate and go straight into figure skating?

No. All skaters in the StarSkate program must have passed CanSkate Stage 6 or equivalent. Many of the fundamental figure skating skills are taught in CanSkate and involves more than just being able to skate. 

An invitation from the Head Coach is required in order to join the StarSkate program.

Some skaters will progress quickly through the CanSkate levels. If there is space, invitations to join the StarSkate program can happen mid-way through the year.
