--CAN SKATE END-OF-SEASON SKATING CARNIVAL--

Hello Skating Families!!

Our skating season is coming to an end, and we would like to celebrate with a Can Skate Circus Carnival! We would like to extend your Can Skate skating days to include March 3rd and 7th! We will then have an end-of-season Circus Carnival on March 14th and 17th (You will be assigned one of these days to come).

THEME: Circus Carnival

DATES: March 14th or 17th TBD

TIMES: 5:15-6pm

WHAT TO WEAR: Dress up in a carnival theme costume: face painting, favorite animal, clown, etc., OR… dress up in your favorite costume that you have at home!

WHAT TO EXPECT: Can Skate will run as it regularly does but will have some added fun elements like circus music, costumes, and fun on-ice games.

PARTICIPATION: Does my child have to participate? No. We hope that you will want to take advantage of this extra ice time and join us in the end-of-season carnival! IF you will NOT be participating in carnival, then the last Can Skate days will be March 3rd and 7th. (No Can Skate March 10th)

TO-DO: Please use your phone to scan the QR code at the bottom of this email or click on the link and complete the quick participation survey for us. Once we have collected all of the information, we will let you know which day you will be participating – March 14th or March 17th @ 5:15-6pm.

On behalf of the Morden Figure Skating Club, I would like to thank you for being a part of our club this year! We look forward to seeing you at the rink!

Sincerely,

Tasha Roberts

September 2021

We are excited to share that Morden Figure Skating Club has been selected by @CTJumpstart to receive a grant from their Sport Relief Fund. The fund helps community sport organizations like ours continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids. This grant will go a long way towards helping our club keep our registration fees as low as possible, continue to meet health restrictions and purchase supplies that allow for effective teaching of skills while maintaining physical distancing. On behalf of our club, THANK YOU Canadian Tire Jumpstart #SportReliefFund Canadian Tire Jumpstart, for helping us support our skating families!
