Kyla Itterman
CoachI started in the CanSkate program at age 5 and fell in love with the sport. I skated singles and synchro, and still compete on the Pembina Pizazz Adult synchro team. I started coaching because there was a need for coaches in the rural communities, and to share my passion for skating. I have been coaching for about 20 years, am a National Coach In Training, and have completed Respect in Sport and First Aid.

Jessica Kagan
CoachI started skating at a very young age. I started the CanSkate program when I was in preschool. I was trying to keep up to my older siblings and loved the skating carnivals. I have been a PA for several years for the MFSC and I was recently certified in the following courses: making ethical decisions, respect in sport, standard first aid, and Canskate coach. I have been coaching for one year and I chose coaching because I enjoy watching skaters smile when they develop skills they thought they could never do before. My favorite skill to practice and teach are the spins, because they are achievable at all levels. They can be simple or complex. My favorite spin is a flying camel catch.
